What does everyone mean by "extended"?

There was only one version released of both "Girl" and "Hello".

I am sure that Girl extended rocks, but one one of most special moments for me what seeing Prince live 2004 Musicology during the acoustic set. In the middle of the set he stops playing and thoughtfully pauses, then out of nowhere he plays almost the full version of Girl. So simple yet so sweet. It was magical for me.

I like it cuz it's an older track than most of the material from ATWIAD. It's from the same year as Rasberry Beret. Probably why P included it as a b-side.I like the keyboard melody. Obviously P was serious about this joint when he cut it since he took it all the way to the mastering stage. He definately was planning on releasing it at some point.

That collection did more damage 2 Prince's musical legacy than anything I can think of. It also has the worst artwork/design I've ever seen on a Prince release.

They even chopped down "Adore"!!!

Yet 'The Hits' is the only reference 4 a lot of folks, and what they get is butchery. What kind of butchery is this?

I can't tell U how many people have said, "I love that song!", and I have had 2 ask what version they know.

I'm just glad I was there when the originals were released, and still have them all.

The extended version made me finally love this song. It give it the extra OOMPH! that was missing on the edited version on The Hits/B-Sides.
